Gincrey is a French commune with 64 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region (before 2016: Lorraine ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Verdun and the canton of Belleville-sur-Meuse (until 2015: canton of Étain ).

Gincrey is about 18 kilometers northeast of Verdun . Gincrey is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Gremilly in the north and north-west, Loison in the north and north-east, Senon in the east and north-east, Foameix in the south-east, Morgemoulin in the south, Mogeville in the west and south-west and Maucourt-sur-Orne in the west.
