Mouilly is a French commune with 113 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region (before 2016: Lorraine ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Verdun , the canton Étain (until 2015: canton Fresnes-en-Woëvre ) and the municipality association Territoire de Fresnes-en-Woëvre

Mouilly is located on the edge of the Lorraine Regional Nature Park, which was founded in 1974, about 16 kilometers south-southeast of Verdun . Mouilly is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Rupt-en-Woëvre in the north and west, Bonzée in the north and northeast, Les Éparges in the east, Saint-Remy-la-Calonne in the southeast, Vaux-lès-Palameix in the south and Ranzières in the southwest.
