Doulcon is a French commune with 445 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It is located in the arrondissement of Verdun and was part of the canton of Dun-sur-Meuse until 2015 , since then the municipality has belonged to the canton of Stenay . The inhabitants are called Doulconais .

Doulcon lies on the Meuse between Verdun and Sedan . Doulcon is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Mont-devant-Sassey in the north, Sassey-sur-Meuse in the north and northeast, Dun-sur-Meuse in the east, Cléry-le-Petit in the southeast, Cléry-le-Grand in the south, Aincreville in the Southwest and Villers-devant-Dun in the west and northwest
