Nantillois is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cunel in the north, Brieulles-sur-Meuse in the north and east, Septsarges in the east and south-east, Montfaucon-d'Argonne in the south, Épinonville in the south-west and Cierges-sous-Montfaucon in the west and north-west.
