Septsarges is a French commune with 47 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region (before 2016: Lorraine ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Verdun , the canton Clermont-en-Argonne (until 2015: canton Montfaucon-d'Argonne ) and the municipality association Argonne-Meuse .

Septsarges is about 32 kilometers northwest of Verdun . Septsarges is surrounded by the neighboring communities Brieulles-sur-Meuse in the north, Dannevoux in the north and northeast, Gercourt-et-Drillancourt in the east, Cuisy in the south and southeast, Montfaucon-d'Argonne in the south and southwest and Nantillois in the northwest.
