Wavrille is a French commune with 50 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region (before 2016 Lorraine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Verdun and to the Damvillers Spincourt community association founded in 2016 .
geography
Wavrille is located on the Thinte , a tributary of the Loison , about 20 kilometers north of Verdun and about 20 kilometers south of the border with Belgium . Wavrille is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Damvillers in the north and northeast, Moirey-Flabas-Crépion in the east and southeast, Consenvoye in the southwest and Étraye in the west and northwest.

Economy and Infrastructure
Wavrille has a rural character. There are four farms in the municipality (mainly dairy farming).
The D 905 trunk road from Verdun to Montmédy runs through the municipality of Wavrille . The nearest train stations are in Montmédy and Verdun.
