Wavrille is located on the Thinte , a tributary of the Loison , about 20 kilometers north of Verdun and about 20 kilometers south of the border with Belgium . Wavrille is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Damvillers in the north and northeast, Moirey-Flabas-Crépion in the east and southeast, Consenvoye in the southwest and Étraye in the west and northwest.
