Haudainville is a French commune with 952 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region (until 2015: Lorraine ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Verdun , the canton Verdun-2 (until 2015: Canton Verdun-Est ) and the community association Communauté d'agglomération du Grand Verdun . The inhabitants are called Haudainvillois .

geography

Haudainville is located about four kilometers southeast of the city center of Verdun on the Canal de la Meuse . The Meuse (French: Meuse ) limits the municipality to the west. Haudainville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Belrupt-en-Verdunois in the north and northeast, Sommedieue in the east and southeast, Dieue-sur-Meuse in the south, Dugny-sur-Meuse in the southwest, Belleray in the west and Verdun in the northwest.

The A4 autoroute runs along the southern edge of the municipality.
