Réville-aux-Bois is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Écurey-en-Verdunois in the north, Peuvillers in the north-east, Damvillers in the east, Étraye in the south, Sivry-sur-Meuse in the west and south-west and Vilosnes-Haraumont in the north-west.
