Moranville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Abaucourt-Hautecourt in the north, Herméville-en-Woëvre in the north-east, Grimaucourt-en-Woëvre in the east, Blanzée in the south, Moulainville in the west and south-west and Eix in the west.
