Thierville-sur-Meuse is a French commune with 3,118 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It is located in the arrondissement of Verdun and in the canton of Belleville-sur-Meuse (until 2015: canton of Charny-sur-Meuse ). The inhabitants are called Thiervillois (es) .

Thierville-sur-Meuse is a banlieue in the north-west of Verdun on the river Maas (French: Meuse ). Thierville-sur-Meuse is surrounded by the neighboring communities Charny-sur-Meuse in the north, Bras-sur-Meuse in the northeast, Belleville-sur-Meuse in the east, Verdun in the south and southeast, Dugny-sur-Meuse in the southwest and Fromeréville- les-Vallons to the west.
