Charpentry is a French commune with 22 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region (before 2016: Lorraine ). Charpentry is about 35 kilometers northwest of Verdun . Charpentry is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Baulny in the north, Épinonville in the northeast, Véry in the east and southeast, Cheppy in the south, Varennes-en-Argonne in the south and southwest and Montblainville in the west and southwest.
