Sivry-sur-Meuse is a French commune with 337 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Verdun , to the canton of Clermont-en-Argonne (until 2015: canton of Montfaucon-d'Argonne ) and to the municipal association Le Val Dunois .
geography
Sivry-sur-Meuse is located in the southeast of the Argonne , about 19 kilometers north-northwest of Verdun . The Meuse (French: Meuse ) limits the municipality to the west. Sivry-sur-Meuse is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Fontaines-Saint-Clair in the north, Vilosnes-Haraumont in the north-west and north-east, Réville-aux-Bois in the east, Consenvoye in the south and south-east, Dannevoux in the west and south-west.
