Saulx-lès-Champlon is a French commune with 118 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region (until 2015: Lorraine ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Verdun , the canton Étain (until 2015: canton Fresnes-en-Woëvre ) and the municipality association Territoire de Fresnes-en-Woëvre .

The municipality is located in the Lorraine Regional Nature Park, founded in 1974 . Saulx-lès-Champlon is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Trésauvaux in the west, Fresnes-en-Woëvre in the north, Riaville in the northeast, Marchéville-en-Woëvre in the east, Saint-Hilaire-en-Woëvre in the southeast, Herbeuville in the south and Combres- sous-les-Côtes in the south-west.
history
On January 1, 1973, the two previously independent communities Saulx-en-Woëvre and Champlon merged to form Saulx-lès-Champlon.
