Forges-sur-Meuse is a French commune with 122 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region (before 2016: Lorraine ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Verdun , the canton Clermont-en-Argonne (until 2015: canton Montfaucon-d'Argonne ) and the municipality association Argonne-Meuse . The inhabitants are called Forgerons .

Forges-sur-Meuse is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Gercourt-et-Drillancourt in the north and north-west, Consenvoye in the north and north-east, Brabant-sur-Meuse in the east, Regnéville-sur-Meuse in the east and south-east, Cumières-le-Mort- Homme to the south and southwest and Béthincourt to the west.
