Bantheville is a French commune with 119 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region (before 2016: Lorraine ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Verdun , the canton Clermont-en-Argonne (until 2015: Canton Montfaucon-d'Argonne ) and the municipality association Pays de Stenay et du Val Dunois . The inhabitants are called Banthevillois .

Bantheville is about 38 kilometers north-northwest of Verdun . Bantheville is surrounded by the neighboring communities Tailly in the north, Aincreville in the east and northeast, Cléry-le-Grand in the east, Cunel in the southeast, Romagne-sous-Montfaucon in the south and Landres-et-Saint-Georges in the west.
