IC 3826 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Virgo on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 186 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 105,000 ly. The galaxy is considered a member of the galaxy group HCG 62 .
The galaxies NGC 4699 , NGC 4703 , NGC 4716 , NGC 4717 are in the same area of ​​the sky .

The object was discovered on April 13, 1895 by Guillaume Bigourdan .
