IC 3808 is a bar-spiral galaxy with an active nucleus of the Hubble type S in the constellation Hounds in the northern sky . It is an estimated 222 million light years from the Milky Way and is approximately 45,000 light years across.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies IC 3758 , IC 3778 , IC 3783 , IC 3795 .
The object was discovered by Max Wolf on March 21, 1903 .
