IC 3783 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type S in the constellation Canes Venatici the northern sky . It is an estimated 335 million light years from the Milky Way and about 70,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies IC 3758 , IC 3778 , IC 3795 , IC 3808 .
The object was discovered by Max Wolf on March 21, 1903 .
