IC 3773 is an elliptical dwarf galaxy of the Hubble type E6 in the constellation Virgo on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 46 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 25,000 light years in diameter. She is listed as a member of the Virgo galaxy cluster under catalog number VCC 2048 .
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies IC 816 , IC 817 , IC 3764 , IC 3767 .
The object was discovered by Arnold Schwassmann on February 20, 1900 .
