Lavoye is a French commune with 153 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Bar-le-Duc and the canton of Dieue-sur-Meuse (until 2015: canton of Seuil-d'Argonne ).
geography
The municipality is located in the natural landscape of the Argonne , about 22 kilometers southwest of Verdun . Neighboring municipalities are Froidos in the north, Julvécourt in the east, Autrécourt-sur-Aire in the south, Waly in the southwest and Beaulieu-en-Argonne in the west. The municipality is crossed by the Aire River in a northerly direction.
