Chardogne is a municipality in north-eastern France with 304 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Bar-le-Duc and the canton Bar-le-Duc-2 (until 2015: Canton Vavincourt ). The inhabitants are called Chardognais .
geography
Chardogne is about six kilometers north-northwest of the city center of Bar-le-Duc . Chardogne is surrounded by the neighboring communities Louppy-le-Château in the north and north-west, Les Hauts-de-Chée in the north and north-east, Vavincourt in the east, Behonne in the south-east, Fains-Véel in the south and Val-d'Ornain in the south and west .
