Longeville-en-Barrois is located on the Ornain about four kilometers southeast of the city center of Bar-le-Duc . Longeville-en-Barrois is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bar-le-Duc in the north and north-west, Resson in the north and north-east, Silmont in the east and north-east, Tannois in the south and south-east, Montplonne in the south and south-west and Savonnières-devant-Bar in the West.
The national route 135 runs through the municipality .
