Beausite is a French commune with 250 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region (before 2016: Lorraine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Bar-le-Duc and the canton of Dieue-sur-Meuse (until 2015: canton of Seuil-d'Argonne ).

Beausite is located in the natural landscape of the Argonne , about 72 kilometers west-southwest of Metz and about 26 kilometers southwest of Verdun on the Aire . Neighboring municipalities are Nubécourt in the north, Saint-André-en-Barrois in the north and north-east, Heippes in the north-east, Les Trois-Domaines in the east, Courcelles-sur-Aire in the south and south-east, Rembercourt-Sommaisne in the south and south-west and Pretz-en -Argonne to the west.

The municipality of Beausite was formed in 1973 from the previously independent municipalities of Amblaincourt , Beauzée-sur-Aire , Deuxnouds-devant-Beauzée and Seraucourt .
