Lavincourt is a French commune with 70 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). The municipality is part of the Bar-le-Duc arrondissement , the canton of Ancerville and the Portes de Meuse municipal association founded in 2016 .

The Saulx at Lavincourt
The municipality is crossed by the Saulx , a tributary of the Marne . Lavincourt is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bazincourt-sur-Saulx in the north, Montplonne in the northeast, Stainville in the southeast, Aulnois-en-Perthois in the southwest and Rupt-aux-Nonains in the west.
