Naives-Rosières is a commune in north-eastern France with 802 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region ( Lorraine until 2015 ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement Bar-le-Duc and the canton Bar-le-Duc-1 (until 2015: canton Vavincourt ). The inhabitants are called Navetonnais .
geography
Naives-Rosières is about three kilometers northeast of Bar-le-Duc . Naives-Rosières is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Vavincourt in the north, Rumont in the northeast, Érize-Saint-Dizier in the east, Culey in the southeast, Resson in the south, Bar-le-Duc in the southwest and Behonne in the west.

In 1973 the municipalities Naives-devant-Bar and Rosières-devant-Bar were merged.
