Behonne is a municipality in north-east France with 609 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Bar-le-Duc and the canton Bar-le-Duc-2 (until 2015: Canton Vavincourt ). The inhabitants are called Behonnais .

geography

Behonne is about two kilometers north-northeast of the city center of Bar-le-Duc . Behonne is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Vavincourt in the north, Naives-Rosières in the east, Bar-le-Duc in the south and south-west, Fains-Véel in the west and Chardogne in the north-west.
