Biencourt-sur-Orge is a French commune with 123 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region (before 2016 Lorraine ). It is part of the Bar-le-Duc arrondissement , the Ligny-en-Barrois canton ( Moutiers-sur-Saulx until 2015 ) and the Portes de Meuse municipality .

geography

The municipality is crossed by the Orge River , a tributary of the Saulx . Biencourt-sur-Orge is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Tréveray in the north, Saint-Joire in the east, Ribeaucourt in the southeast, Montiers-sur-Saulx in the southwest, Couvertpuis in the west and Hévilliers in the northwest.
