Tréveray is a French commune with 572 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region (before 2016 Lorraine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement Commercy , the canton Ligny-en-Barrois (until 2015 Gondrecourt-le-Château ) and the municipality of Portes de Meuse .

geography

The municipality is crossed by the Ornain river. Tréveray is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Saint-Joire in the east, Biencourt-sur-Orge in the south, Hévilliers in the southwest, Naix-aux-Forges in the west, Saint-Amand-sur-Ornain in the northwest and the municipality of Marson in the canton of Vaucouleurs -sur-Barboure in the northeast.
