geography
Rigny-Saint-Martin is located around 15 kilometers southwest of the city of Toul in the south of the Meuse department on the border with the Meurthe-et-Moselle department . In terms of traffic, the municipality is located away from national traffic connections on the D960. The place is on the Aroffe . Large parts to the east of the village are forested (Bois d'en-delà, le Chênois, l'Hindelory and Forêt Dominiale de l'Essart).

history
