Kœur-la-Petite is a French commune in the department of Meuse in the region of Grand Est (2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement Commercy and the canton Dieue-sur-Meuse (until 2015: canton Pierrefitte-sur-Aire ). It has 285 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017).

Kœur-la-Petite is located on the upper Meuse and the parallel Meuse Canal , between Verdun and Commercy , about 50 kilometers southwest of Metz at an altitude between 217 and 361 m above sea level. The municipality covers 20.33 km².
