Euville is a French commune with 1,665 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). The municipality is located in the canton of Commercy in the Arrondissement of Commercy . The inhabitants are called Euvillois .
geography
Euville is located three kilometers southeast of the city center of Commercy in the Lorraine Regional Nature Park on the Canal de la Meuse . The Meuse (French: Meuse ) also flows through the municipality. Euville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Vignot in the north, Geville in the northeast, Boucq in the east, Sorcy-Saint-Martin in the south, Laneuville-au-Rupt in the southwest and Commercy in the west and northwest.

In 1973 the municipalities of Aulnois-sous-Vertuzey (formerly: Vassimont), Vertuzey and Ville-Issey were attached to what is now the municipality of Euville.
