Villotte-sur-Aire is a French commune in the department of Meuse in the region of Grand Est (2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement Commercy and the canton Dieue-sur-Meuse (until 2015: canton Pierrefitte-sur-Aire ). The community has 200 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017).

Villotte-sur-Aire is located about 25 kilometers south-southwest of Verdun on the Aire . Villotte-sur-Aire is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Ville-devant-Belrain in the north, Rupt-devant-Saint-Mihiel in the northeast, Kœur-la-Petite in the east, Gimécourt in the south and southeast, Levoncourt in the south, Rumont in the southwest, Érize-la-Brûlée in the west and Belrain in the west and northwest.
