Erneville-aux-Bois is a French commune with 160 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). The municipality is located in the canton of Vaucouleurs (until 2015: canton of Commercy ) in the Arrondissement of Commercy . The inhabitants are called Ernevillois .
The municipalities include Ernecourt , Loxéville and Domrémy-aux-Boix .

Erneville-aux-Bois is twelve kilometers west-southwest of downtown Commercy . Erneville-aux-Bois is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cousances-lès-Triconville in the north, Grimaucourt-près-Sampigny in the northeast, Chonville-Malaumont in the east, Saint-Aubin-sur-Aire in the south and southeast, Nançois-le-Grand in the South, Willeroncourt in the south and south-west, Nançois-sur-Ornain in the west and south-west and Salmagne in the west.
