Brady Reiter (born August 26, 2000 in Orlando , Florida ) is an American child actress who achieved international fame through her leading role as Mindy Minus in the Nickelodeon teen sitcom 100 Things by the time she was in high school , but also for a few years Previously, Nyx starred in Tooth Fairy on Probation 2 .

Life

Brady Reiter was born into a blended family on August 26, 2000 as the daughter of the previously married couple Judy and Eric Reiter in the city of Orlando, Florida , but grew up in Pebble Creek , north of Tampa , and Naples . In addition to her and her parents, this consisted of three older brothers and two older sisters. She got her first name after her mother was constantly told that her family was like The Brady Bunch . She started modeling at the age of three or four and began her career as an actress a year later. As a five-year-old she was used for the first time in a Disney World commercial, when she prevailed against hundreds of competitors, and was then mainly used in advertising productions for television. It was also used in a commercial for the 2005 Spring Training of the Toronto Blue Jays and was also featured in a January 2006 spot about the Boston Red Sox that was filmed in Fort Myers .

In 2005 she also took part in the shooting of She Could Be You , a film about a girl whose face was the first ever printed on a milk carton, released in 2008 in Tampa. In October 2005 she auditioned for the role of Eloise in the film adaptation of the novel Eloise in Paris , made it into the top 10 of several thousand applicants, but was not cast for the role. Furthermore, she was personally invited to an audition for one of his films by Adam Sandler during this time , but could not be cast here either. During this time, Reiter was trained in acting by Sheri Kebbel, among others mother of Arielle Kebbel , from Mosaic Talent Development in Winter Park , Florida. In 2008 she was also seen in Beethoven's big breakthrough , the sixth official film in the Beethoven series, but only played a small and insignificant role. After minor guest roles in one episode each of Big Time Rush (2010) and Are We There Yet? (2011) followed the lead role of Nyx in Tooth Fairy on Probation 2 in 2012, the first major breakthrough. Because of this role, she then became media spokesperson for the National Children's Oral Health Foundation .

In 2013 performances followed in two episodes of the Yahoo! -screen mini-series Tiny Commando of the Wesleyan graduates Jacob Fleisher and actor Ed Helms before the 2014 Nickelodeon series 100 things to do before high school was cast. In the US youth sitcom she has played the antagonist Mindy Minus since the one-hour pilot was broadcast in November 2014 , in the original script this was Mandy Minus . In the role, she is strongly reminiscent of Sharpay Evans in high school, played by Ashley Tisdale Musical , but initially auditioned for the leading role of CJ Martin , later assigned to Isabela Moner .
