100 things to do before high school (AKA: 100 Things to Do Before High School ) is an American youth - sitcom of the television channel Nickelodeon . The series started in November 2014 in the US with the broadcast of the one-hour pilot , the other episodes started in June 2015. The German premiere took place on August 30, 2015 at the German Nickelodeon .

Twelve-year-old CJ Martin is in seventh grade at Pootatuck Middleschool and can hardly wait to move on to high school . On the last day of the summer vacation, however, her older brother tells her that high school is by no means the way CJ thinks he knows it from various TV series, rather the high school years are incredibly stressful and, for CJ, the worst imagination that one would be his by then lose sight of closest friends. To prevent that from happening, CJ, along with best friends Crispo and Fenwick, makes a list of 100 things that they absolutely want to do in the time they have left before they switch to high school.

CJ Martin is actually looking forward to high school, but learns from her brother that the reality is different from what is shown in TV series. Then she decides to use the remaining time before changing school as intensively as possible together with her best friends.

Christian "Crispo" Powers has been friends with CJ since kindergarten. Crispo changed his look during the summer holidays and is now becoming the most popular boy of his year, which, however, annoys him in places.

Fenwick Frazier has also been friends with CJ since kindergarten. He is the smartest student in the class and always wears a shirt and tie.

Mindy Minus is the most popular girl in school and in the same class as CJ, Crispo and Fenwick. She is snobby, spoiled, and possessive. She tries everything to make Crispo her friend, but she fails. She can often be seen with her friends.

Mr. Jack Roberts is the school's tutor. He gives advice to CJ, Crispo, and Fenwick at school.

Mr. Bored is the school's boring history teacher.

Mr. Henry Slinko is the school's chemistry teacher.

Mr. Bandt is the school's music and home economics teacher.

Director Hader is the director of the school.

Natasha Villavovodovich is the Siberian canteen lady . She describes the students and teachers as American sissies.

Mr. and Mrs. Martin are the parents of CJ and Ronbie.

Ronbie Martin is CJ's big brother. You see him mostly learning.

Paul Schmolitor is the hallway attendant and 7th grade class representative for the school. He has a mustache.

Benji and Enzo Froman are the school's twin brothers. They like to dance. The twins also appeared in the episode Zwillingitis from the series Sam & Cat .

Handsome eighth grader is an eighth grader CJ is in love with. His favorite things are photography and karate. His name is unknown.

Lori Loudly is a disliked girl at school and one of CJ's friends. She speaks very loudly.

Martha St. Reynolds is one of CJ's friends. She likes to beautify the school.

Aubrey Garcia is a girl at school who always dresses in black. She is a member of the "black lipstick gang".

Two weeks after the series Sam & Cat was canceled after only one season, Nickelodeon ordered the 26 episode first season of 100 Things to High School , which began production in Los Angeles in the fall of 2014, in late July 2014 . On September 11, 2016, actress Lisa Arch announced on Twitter that the series has been discontinued and that no further episodes will be produced.

Awards and nominations

Leading actress Isabela Moner was named Best Young Actress - Television for the series at the 2016 Imagen Awards , after being nominated the previous year.
