Henry Danger is an American youth - sitcom that from everyday life and the adventures of the superhero Captain Man and his sidekicks is Henry Hart. The series was developed by Dan Schneider , who was involved in the production of Sam & Cat , Victorious , iCarly , Zoey 101 and Drake & Josh .
The 44-minute pilot episode aired on July 26, 2014 on the US television network Nickelodeon . The two-part series finale ran in the United States on March 14 and 21, 2020. The German-language first broadcast of the pilot episode took place on November 15, 2014 on Nickelodeon Germany . In Germany, the series finale was broadcast on August 27, 2020.

The series tells the story of Henry Hart and his two best friends Charlotte Bolton and Jasper Dunlop in the fictional town of Swellview. The focus is on Henry, who is initially 13, who one day tries to get a part-time job at a cloaked store called Junk 'n' Stuff. In fact, however, he gets a job on Swellview's superhero Captain Man. As his sidekick Kid Danger, he experiences hair-raising adventures that he has to hide from his friends and family.
In 1989 the scientist Dr. Carl Manchester brings his son Ray to work. Ray accidentally got caught up in an invention of his father and became an indestructible person who only feels pain for a second. Ray became Captain Man and is one of Swellview's most famous residents.

But from the episode A New Hero (3) , when he defeated Rick Twittler, he loses his superpowers again.
Ray Manchester / Captain Man is a superhero and protects the city of Swellview. He is loved by most, but is portrayed as the villain in the episode Captain Fies . 25 years ago, his father built a machine to make things indestructible. Ray had come into contact with the machine and became an indestructible superhero. He is in love with Mrs. Hart and other women.
Charlotte Bolton (also: Charlotte Page) is Henry and Jasper's girlfriend. She's clever, sarcastic, and super smart. She is a fan of Captain Man. She learns Henry's secret in episode 3 and then gets a job from Captain Man.
Jasper Dunlop is one of Henry's friends. He collects a lot of buckets and his parents are strange. He's a big fan of Captain Man. His other friends are Sydney and Oliver. He doesn't get along well with Henry's younger sister, Piper. Since the episode I Know Your Secret (S02E18), Jasper has known that Henry is Kid Danger. He then got a job at Junk 'n' Stuff.
Piper Hart is Henry's younger sister. She is unpredictable and a little aggressive. She tries compulsively to always end up looking good and is very manipulative. She competes with Jana Tetrazzini and is President of Man Fans. From the 2nd season she has a driver's license, which was delivered to her by mistake. Since the episode Sister Heart (S05E26) she knows who Kid Danger and Captain Man are.
Minor characters
Mr. Gooch is a junk 'n' stuff seller. He always alerts Captain Man when there are problems. He has a nephew named Benjy and takes care of a plant called Omar. He only appears in the 1st season.
Schwoz Schwartz is an employee of Captain Man and a real genius. He had unhooked Ray's friend, made Ray angry and ended their friendship. However, since he's the only one who can fix the equipment in the Man Cave, Ray hires him again. Over time, a friendship develops again between the two. Schwoz is caring, crazy and has a sister named Winnie. He's a genius, but he can't pronounce some words correctly. From the 5th season he has a leading role.
Jake Hart is Henry and Piper's father. He doesn't like Jasper.
Siren Hart is Henry and Piper's mother. She is often admired by Captain Man.
Sydney Birnbaum is Oliver and Jasper's friend. He has the same personality as Oliver.
Oliver Pook is Jasper and Sydney's boyfriend. He's a strange and quirky boy and eats beetles with Sydney.
Bork is Ray's tough worker. He's acting like an animal.
Trent Overunder is the news anchor for Swellview News.
Mary Gaperman is a news anchor and Trent's colleague. She gets annoyed when Trent interrupts her.
Sharon Shapen is Henry, Charlotte's, and Jasper's teacher. She is strict and cannot find a husband.
Chloe Hartmann is a girl who has been moved several times by Henry because he has a job at Junk 'n' Stuff. She's later on the reality show Kids in the Woods .
Bianca is a girl that Henry has a crush on, as you find out in The Supervolcano . At the end of The Faked Date episode , Henry and Bianca become a couple. In the episode Danger & Thunder , we learn that Bianca is now at the reality show Kids in the woods .
Winnie is Schwoz's sister. She is often made fun of because she looks like a horse.
Jeff Bilsky is the dumbest criminal in all of Swellview, often arrested by Captain Man. In the episode, the Bilsky family turns out to be related to Mitch.
Dr. Minyak is a mad scientist and an archenemy of Captain Man and Kid Danger. His goal is to eliminate Captain Man and Kid Danger. He is one of the most dangerous of all villains. He also has a partner named Sister Cohort .
Mitch Bilsky is a teenager at the school who bullies Henry and the other students. In the episode JAM session , Henry mentions that he had anger problems. He is also the brother of the stupidest criminal Jeff. He also has a sister named Bysh Bilsky .

In March 2014, the pilot episode aired and Nickelodeon commissioned 20 episodes. The first two episodes were advertised as a feature film. Dan Schneider announced on Twitter that he will be making a guest appearance.
Due to increasing viewership, Nickelodeon extended the series on November 18, 2014 for a second season. When the series continued to be very well received, a third season was ordered on March 2, 2016. Since the odds were very high, a fourth season was ordered on November 16, 2016.

Offshoot
On January 15, 2018, the first episode of The Adventures of Kid Danger , an animated version of Henry Danger , was broadcast in the United States . In Germany, the series was first broadcast on March 25, 2018 under the title The Adventures of Kid Danger .
In February 2020 it was announced that Nickelodeon would produce another offshoot of Henry Danger called Danger Force .
