Jared Drake Bell , better known as Drake Bell (* 27. June 1986 in Anaheim , California ) is an American film actor and pop-rock - singer .

Life

Drake Bell has two older brothers and a half-sister as well as a half-brother on his mother's side and two half-brothers on his father's side. His mother Robin Dodson is a former professional pool player . She has won the world title twice. His cousin is baseball player Heath Bell .

Drake began acting at the age of five and began playing the guitar at the age of 13, as well as playing the piano. He became known in his role as Drake Parker in the US series Drake & Josh . He had guest appearances on television series such as Zoey 101 , So Little Time , Seinfeld , Listen, Who Hammered and iCarly . He also plays in the movie Your, Mine & Our and Superhero Movie ( Rick Ricker ). Drake Bell was on the jury for the 2006 Miss Teen USA election . With his band Drake 24/7 he brought out his debut album Telegraph in 2005 .

On December 31, 2005, Drake Bell had a serious accident with his '66 Ford Mustang on the Los Angeles Pacific High Coast, resulting in a fractured jaw and skull. His second album It's Only Time was released on December 5, 2006, the single I Know in November. In 2008 he received a Kids Choice Award in the Best TV Actor category .

In the movie A Cosmo & Wanda Movie: Grow Up Timmy Turner! (2011), a live adaptation of the animation series Cosmo and Wanda - When Elves Help , He played Timmy Turner. He played the same role a year later in the sequel Cosmo & Wanda - Pretty Crazy Christmas . From 2012 to 2017 he played the role of Spider-Man in the animated series The Ultimate Spider-Man .
