Robin Bell Dodson , b. Robin Hansen (born May 30, 1956 in Omaha ) is a former American pool player.

Career

At the age of 12 she started to learn pool. A local pool player saw Robin practice and asked if she would like to play in the California Women's State Championship . At the age of 16, she won the title at the California Women's State Championships and received a starting place at the US Open Championship , which she did not notice.

Between 1972 and 1974 she was California women's pool champion. After a long break, she began to play pool again in 1984 and was able to achieve 27 wins and placements in major tournaments between 1985 and 1991, including the National Championships in 1989 and the WPA 9-Ball World Championships in 1990 and 1991. In 2005 she was transferred to the BCA -Hall of Fame and then in 2009 WPBA Hall of Fame.

Private

Dodson is married and has three sons, including actor Drake Bell .
