Clemens Ostermann

Clemens Victor Ostermann (born June 11, 1984 in Munich ; † April 30, 2007 there ) was a German voice actor and musician .

Life

Ostermann was the son of an artist couple, so that he came into contact with music and dubbing in early childhood . As a musician, he was active as a cellist , bassist and singer in the Munich classical / hip-hop band Einshoch6 , and he also mastered the trumpet. His parents are Henny and Michael Ostermann , his sisters Merit and Ruth-Maria.

His best-known synchronized roles are that of Drake Parker in Drake & Josh , in the anime series Beyblade and Ranma ½ that of Ray Kon and Ranma Saotome (Ranma-kun), in Listen, Who's That Hammering as Randy and in the cartoon series American Dragon starring Jake. He worked mostly in the studios of the Film- und Fernseh-Synchron GmbH .

For the role of Drake Parker ( Drake & Josh ) he could no longer lend his voice to all episodes, nor was Jackson Stewart ( Hannah Montana ), whom he only gave his voice to in the first season.

Ostermann died unexpectedly on April 30, 2007 during a synchronized recording on Bavarian Radio, as a result of a pulmonary embolism . He was buried on May 9, 2007 in the forest cemetery in Munich .

Ostermann was often used for children's series because of his high-pitched voice, so it was difficult to find a successor as a voice actor after his death. After his death, Manuel Straube and Benedikt Weber took over his synchronous roles.
