Derek Richardson

Derek Richardson (born January 18, 1976 in Glens Falls , New York ) is an American actor .

Life

Derek Richardson began his career as a stage actor before making his screen debut with a guest appearance on the US television series Law & Order . In 2002 he played a minor supporting role in the series Felicity . He gained greater fame through his first major film role in the movie Dumm and Dumberer in 2003.

In 2005 and 2007 he played the role of Josh in the horror films Hostel and Hostel 2 by Eli Roth . From 2006 to 2008 he was in the television series Men in Trees as Patrick Bachelor . In the double episode one flew into the cuckoo's nest of the sixth season of Dr. House he played the role of Steve Alkateen , a (fellow) patient who sees himself as a superhero named Freedom Master .

Richardson has lived in Los Angeles since 2002 . Richardson has been married to the German actress Franka Potente since 2012 , with whom he has two daughters (* 2011 and * 2013).
