Horror, horror, goosebumps (Original title: Are You Afraid of the Dark? ) Is a Canadian television series that consists of seven seasons. After the production of the series was discontinued in 1996 after the fifth season, two seasons followed in 1999 with a new cast.
In the framework of each episode, a group of young people who call themselves the midnight society meets around a campfire in the forest, where they tell each other scary stories.
The stories are very different and deal with vampires , enchanted houses and objects, curses , forgotten treasures and the like. Very often the stories have a somewhat moralizing background.
The protagonists of the stories told are all children and young people. Some characters like Dr. Vink or the owner of the wizarding business, Mr. Sardo, appear in several episodes.
