Aron Tager

Aron Tager (born June 15, 1934 in Brooklyn , New York City - † February 28, 2019 ) was an American actor , voice actor and artist .

Life

Trained as an actor, he took a 25-year hiatus to focus solely on the arts, especially painting and sculpture, before becoming an actor again in the early 1990s. Tager has appeared in a variety of theater, television, and film productions and has had roles in the films X-Men , Rocky Marciano, Serendipity, Murder Around 1600, 10,000 Black Men Called George, A Holiday Romance, and The Salem Witch Trials. As a member of the repertoire group of the A&E television series A Nero Wolfe Mystery (2001–2002) he is also in the television shows At the Hotel, Kojak, Marionettes, die Killing, Afraid of Dark?, Monk, Goosebumps, Wild Card, Sirens, Erde : End Conflict, Lil 'Bush, Psi Factor: Chronicles of the Paranormal, Sinful South, Miracle Falls, Blue Murder, Relic Hunters, Zack Files and Billable Hours. He played Max Coleman in the TV movies "Martin" and "Lewis".

Awards

Tager has received a number of awards for his work, including the 1950 Gold Key at the National Scholastic Art Competition , and the 1975 Norwich University Art Show Prize and Medal for "Best Sculpture" and "Most Popular Work in Show" as well the award and medal at the 1985 Boston Festival of the Arts .
