The television series Het Huis Anubis is a joint production of the Belgian broadcaster Studio 100 and Nickelodeon and was broadcast with great success on the television stations Nickelodeon Nederland and Nickelodeon Vlaanderen from September 26, 2006 to December 4, 2009 .

Offshoot

The television series has numerous offshoots . Separate series were created for the German-speaking and English-speaking markets ( Das Haus Anubis 2009–2012, House of Anubis 2011–2013), with the German series being created in the context of the original series.

As a transition to the third season, the movie Anubis en het pad der 7 zonden (Eng. Anubis and the path of the 7 sins ) was produced in 2008 . With 700,000 visitors, it became one of the most successful cinema films in the Netherlands . This was followed by Anubis en de wraak van Arghus (2009) and Het huis Anubis en de terugkeer van Sibuna (2010).

In addition, a 30-minute music special was broadcast in 2007.

Soundtrack

Leading actress Loek Beernink released the title song she recorded in the series as a single under her role name Nienke in January 2007, thus reaching the top of the Dutch Top 40 .

Broadcast in other countries

While only the local series offshoots were broadcast in German and English-speaking countries, Het Huis Anubis has been broadcast in Denmark and Sweden under the name Huset Anubis since September 28, 2010 . The title song is sung in the Danish version by Julie Lund , who also dubbed the role of Nienke. In Mexico , Het Huis Anubis was broadcast on Once TV under the title La Casa De Anubis , but later, as in other Latin American countries, it was replaced by House of Anubis .
