Just for Kicks is an American drama series that was broadcast on Nickelodeon .

Whoopi Goldberg was the executive producer on this live action series. This is about four young girls who play on a successful soccer team. The four characters are very different and the series illuminates their résumé both on the field and in everyday life. In terms of content, the four students want to prove that girls play football just as well (in their eyes better) than boys.
The first broadcast in the United States was planned for September 2005, but could not be broadcast until April 9, 2006 due to interruptions during production. It was first broadcast in January 2006 on Nick UK & Ireland . Initially the drama was called "Head to Toe", later "The Power Strikers" and after the last name change in 2005 "Just for Kicks". The series was shot in Los Angeles .
