- Maximus Octavius "Max" Thunderman is the twin brother of Phoebe. He can be sneaky and mean at times, but at times he is a good friend of Phoebe's who bails her out. He'd like to be a villain. Max has the super powers like Phoebe. Together with the super villain Doctor Colosso he lives in his "villain base" in the basement of the house. After defeating Dark Mayhem along with Phoebe, he switches sides and becomes a superhero at the end of season three. Despite the change of sides, he still likes to tease Phoebe, but now more on a friendly basis.
- William "Billy" Thunderman / Kid Quick is the 10 year old son of the Thundermans. He is quick-tempered, lively and childish. He was also mentally retarded due to an accident when he was born. He has the ability to run faster than sound. He likes to play with Nora, whose laser eye he tries to avoid with his speed.
- Nora Thunderman / Lasergirl is the 8 year old daughter of the Thundermans. She is intelligent, inquisitive, and spiritually mature for her age. Your ability is laser vision. She likes to play with Billy, especially by shooting him with her laser eye. However, she also has a keen business acumen and often thinks of the financial side alongside childlike Billy. Although they also resemble Dr. Colosso, she can't stand him.
- Henry "Hank" Thunderman / Thunderman is the father of Phoebe, Max, Billy, Nora and Chloe and Barb's husband. He's clumsy, doesn't care about hygiene, loves food and is a little slow mentally. He is superhumanly strong and can fly.

Minor characters
- Doctor Arthur Colosso was once the most evil and powerful villain on the planet. However, he was tricked by Hank and Barb and turned into a male, talking rabbit. Max took him in and he has served him as a mentor ever since, and his pet is also his best friend. Every now and then he turns into a human with the help of the Animalizer, but is always turned back. He enjoys developing clothes for the whole family. He also likes to dress up. When a family member has a problem, they often have advice but almost always make demands. She believed that Phoebe's family is performing in a musical and that her powers are special effects . But at the end of the second season, Phoebe tells her the truth. Since then she has been helping her friend keep the Thundermans' family secret more often. She is also very helpful, which is evident in episodes such as "The Double Phoebe".

The students often make fun of his "poor life". In the episode "The World Is Not Enough", Max and Phoebe find out that he doesn't even have his own house and that he uses the students' lockers as a bed. In the episode "Flower Power" he mentions that he has no hobbies, friends or family.
- Link Evilman is Phoebe's friend. He is the son of Hank's former archenemy, the super villain Evilman. Its superpower is elasticity. In the end he moves to Hong Kong to protect the city.
- Mike Evilman / Mattresses Mike / Evilman is Hank's archenemy and was a feared super villain but retired 10 years ago and has gotten along better with Hank ever since. - Allison is Hiddenville High's benefactress who gets involved in every social cause. She was Max's girlfriend until she broke up with him in the episode “The world is not enough”. However, the two found similarities and eventually became a couple.
- Super President Evelyn Trittzu is the President of the League of Heroes. Her daughter's name is Simone.
- Wolfgang is the drummer in Max's band. He comes from Germany. He likes to use the word "Wolfgang" in many inappropriate places. When he's upset, he sometimes speaks dialect.

- Roxy is a friend of Phoebe.
- Sarah is a nerdy girl and has a crush on Max, but he doesn't reply. She later gets together with Gideon after Max and Phoebe bring her together.

- Tyler is a friend of Evan.
- Jay Jay was the owner of the Splatburger restaurant.
- Dark Mayhem is one of the most dangerous supervillains in the world. Phoebe and Max later defeated him and took his powers. However, Phoebe took his powers trapped in a bullet to complete a mission. She becomes angry, but her family manages to free her from the forces.
- Blobbin is the cousin of Phoebe, Max, Billy, Nora and Chloe. He has the strength that nothing hurts him on the outside, but inside he is a very sensitive guy (quote: "... but inside I am a mimosa"). In addition, he doesn't like moving and is a bit fat. Since he inherited a lot of money, he has been rich and also uses the money as an armchair or as wood for his fireplace.
