Rosa Blasi

Rosa Blasi (born December 19, 1972 in Chicago , Illinois ) is an American actress .

Life

Rosa Blasi was born in Chicago in 1972, where she also spent her youth. At the age of eight she made her debut as a stage actress in her hometown. Later she realized over 40 theater productions with the Piven Performance Company or with the theater group The Second City , in which Kenny Rogers also worked. She didn't feel tied to any genre at the time and played in both comedies and musicals.

Blasi had her first television appearance in the CBS soap opera Reich und Schön , followed by guest appearances in television series such as Hitz and High Tide - a cool duo . In the 2000 television film Noriega - God's Favorite or Monster? She took on a female lead for the first time and played Vicky Amador, for whose impersonation she received a lot of positive reviews. Then followed the series lead role as Dr. Luisa "Lu" Delgado in the medical series Strong Medicine produced by the US cable broadcaster Lifetime : Two doctors like fire and ice . In the cinema, she was last seen in the horror flick The Curse , where she played the role of Maria Kirk . On February 14, 2004, Blasi married the football player Jim Finn, fullback of the New York Giants . The couple have a daughter named Kaia Jane.
