Hannes Maurer (* 1983 in Berlin ) is a German dubbing director , voice actor and former actor who primarily speaks roles in animated films .

biography

Born in Berlin, he did his first roles at the age of 10. Nevertheless, he is mainly known for his voice, which can be heard in many cinema, television and radio play productions. He was in the cinema productions Free Willy 2 - Freedom in Danger , Blues Brothers 2000 , Mars Attacks! , Coraline or Gomorrah - Journey into the realm of the Camorra to hear. In the latter film he dubbed the role of Ciro (played by Ciro Petrone) and was nominated for this in 2009 for the German Synchronous Award. Because of his high-pitched voice, he dubbed mostly younger male roles, as often found in animation films. For example, he spoke to Steve Smith in American Dad! , Timmy in Cosmo and Wanda - When Elves Help, and Spike in the My Little Pony TV series. Due to a dubbing break and a trip around the world, from 2015 some series and film roles had to be replaced by other voice actors such as Christian Zeiger , Dirk Petrick and Michael Wiesner .
