Virgil is an outsider at Summerton High School. While his former friends Derek and Stephanie are now among the stars of the school, Virgil allies with Charlie and Zeke. To gain popularity, the guys are making a time machine. With the help of the machine, they travel back in time. The task force sets itself the goal of saving the other outsiders of the school from embarrassment at the last second.
