Dexter Darden

Dexter Darden (born June 24, 1991 in Camden , New Jersey ) is an American actor who made his name for the role of Frypan from the movie Maze Runner . He also played the role in the two published sequels.

life and career

Dexter Darden was born in the city of Camden, New Jersey, USA. From the age of three he was a member of the church choir. His father died when Darden was nine years old. A drama camp leader discovered Dardens talent early on and made it possible for him to appear on large theater stages, also with charitable backgrounds, such as collecting donations for children with cancer.

Darden took his first acting role in front of the camera in 2006 in the film My Brother . From then on he worked in a few smaller films and in a few guest roles on television, for example in Pour Paul , Cougar Town or Victorious . In 2012 he was able to increase his fame through the role of Walter Hill in the film Joyful Noise , alongside Queen Latifah , Dolly Parton , Keke Palmer and Courtney B. Vance .
