Nathan Wang
Nathan T. Wang (born August 8, 1956 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American composer .
Life
Nathan T. Wang started music at the age of four. At the age of nine he was accepted by the University of Southern California to study music theory and composition . Then, after graduating from Los Altos High School in 1974, Wang studied at Pomona College from 1975 to 1979 , and received a scholarship from the Fulbright Program to continue studying composition at the University of Oxford .
From 1992 Nathan Wang became self-employed as a composer and since then has worked mainly in Hollywood and Hong Kong , where, in addition to several films by Jackie Chan, he recently also worked for comedies by director Andy Fickman , such as Kifferwahn , Daddy without a plan and You already again , the Composed music.
In 2018 he was appointed to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences , which awards the Oscars every year.
